So it's official. There is finally a real character drawing of a character from Sharin Kur. Serik was done up by the ever talented Sayda, I think she really captured what I was going for.

Serik's story:

Serik was born to a dragon mother who had fallen in love with a human while she was living in human form. Because of Dragon law to keep their existence a secret she had to leave him to give birth and raise Serik. Since Dragons don't have a need for clothes those halfdragons born have developed a style unique and all their own.
Serik is a curious woman full of excitement and a little naivete of the world. She has taken on the tradition of shaman and speaks with the spirits of the world around. She's a copper halfdragon hence the coloration of her skin, oxidized copper. Her tattoos couldn't be applied like most as it has alot of copper deposits. Her tattoos are not injected ink but rather a chemical reaction between sulfuric acid and copper making them a form of copper-sulfide. Her gems are forms of copper alloys.
The halfdragons have come up with a style that mixes the clothing of the Native Americans, the style of the Celts and the tattooing traditions of the Maori. These are quite different styles but I think Sayda did an awesome job in combining it all.
Serik is one of many that will play a role in the interplanar war that is coming in my world that will forever change Sharin Kur and it's future. I am trying to write the story, maybe it'll be good enough to get published by a big publisher, if not I'll publish it myself.
